Eligibility & Jurisdiction

Who can be onboarded,
and where.

The regulatory ground rules behind every engagement, and how we work through them with prospective clients. Specifics are always confirmed in person.

Eligibility Criteria

Four things we work through together.

– 01

Investor Profile

The applicable investor category in the client's jurisdiction, and whether the proposed vehicle is appropriate for that profile.

– 02

KYC & Source of Funds

Identity verification, source-of-wealth documentation, and regulatory screening, completed before any engagement begins.

– 03

Suitability

A documented match between the strategy's risk profile, liquidity, and horizon, and the client's own.

– 04

Jurisdictional Fit

Whether the client's country of residence and tax position work with the vehicle on offer and our regulatory standing.

Jurisdictional Scope

Where we operate.

Silvercoin operates from the UAE and welcomes clients from jurisdictions where cross-border investment services from a UAE free-zone entity are permitted, subject to each client's own regulatory standing.

Entity & Regulatory details
  • UAE domestic. Clients resident in the UAE who meet the applicable investor category.
  • GCC & wider MENA. Subject to local rules on cross-border engagement and the investor's status at home.
  • Non-resident Indians. Through appropriate vehicles, with FEMA and home-country rules respected.
  • Other international clients. Considered case by case, with feasibility confirmed early in the conversation.
Where we step back

A few situations where we'd say no.

We'd rather be honest about the boundaries than waste anyone's time. The specifics below come up rarely, and we work through them on the first call.

  • Jurisdictions that require a local registration we don't hold.
  • Clients who don't meet the investor category required for the vehicle on offer.
  • Tax, legal, or accounting advice (we coordinate with the client's own counsel for that).
  • Clients from sanctioned jurisdictions or where screening raises regulatory concerns.

Note: This page describes eligibility at a high level. Specific feasibility depends on the client's country of residence, regulatory status, and the vehicle proposed. These are confirmed during the initial consultation.
